It works as intended, and the magnet is strong enough to stay connected, but not too strong to pull the whole connection out of the switch. I have small children so have worried about the length of life I will get out of usb c ports or the switch 2 itself when accidentally stepping on the cord while plugged in or pulling it. No worries any more, no pulling the switch over or off anything as the cable just comes right off.

I have been looking for a good magnet charging system for controllers and such for awhile but was on the fence for a long time as a lot of the connectors on Amazon have mixed reviews. They do have a little led that lights up to let you know something is charging though depending on the wall adapter that light may always stay on or may only turn on during charging. It really depends on whether your wall adapter or power port has circuitry to only draw power when charging.

I bought a Meta Quest 3 recently, which has a badly positioned sideways connector.

when using it with a long usb-c cable, chance is given, you might rip it out of the glasses.
