Great product, absolutely no problems. I still have my original from Kickstarter (“Gluten Free” & “Thx 4 The Kickstart” on PCB… just noticed last year lol), and when I saw these drop to $5, I made a point to upgrade as it seemed this was last of stock.
Had heard these newer models started supporting a new Bluetooth audio codec, and while using I noticed the buttons are much better than the OG model.
Although these newer ones don’t include a kickstand, I’m glad the case came with a spot to store one. The plastic clips in my old case broke, so my Genki gear is portable again.
IDK what the deal is with the reviewer saying not to order from Genki. Never had a problem on kickstarter, never had a problem here either.
The cases were a little off in cosmetic appearance, but totally fine. I got my order and functional products in proper sealed retail boxes. Neat to have a couple extras, and will likely gift one to a friend.

STORY TIME - 5+ STARS
Crazy story… I backed one of the OG Genki products around 8 years ago. Due to some mishap on my end or so, I never received it.
For whatever reason, I was looking through the kickstarter app a few days ago, and noticed an update from Genki, and I randomly thought “huh… I backed one of their items forever ago and I don’t remember receiving it. I know my folks moved around the time it would’ve shipped, so maybe that had something to do with it.”
I, on a whim, reached out and told them my tale. To my pleasant surprise, I received an email back with a code for that product, and a short message.
HUGE shoutout to the Genki team, and thank you for helping me out, even when I was convinced I’d get a “nah sorry, we can’t help ya” in return.

DONT BUY ANYTHING FROM GENKI!! I never received my order, and it said USPS delivered it to the mailbox but I clearly put on my address in BOLD letters ; ‘BACK DOOR’ which they chose not to do. I’m willing to bet someone that lives above me stole it bcuz I live in a multi unit house divided into them units. But they said I have to have cctv footage of it not in the mailbox which doesn’t even make sense in my opinion how can I provide video of something not there? Or am I stupid? Either that or make a police report to get my order replaced and that is just too much for 30 merchandise horrible customer service no resolve of issue do not buy from them or thru shop!!!

Finally bluetooth audio for ps5
IM shocked a new system with the latest tech doesnt have built in bluetooth transmitter for ps5. I was using the bluetooth from my tv but the audio/video lagged. This makes it so much better, i can watch things on my tv and play games on ps5. on the bedroom floor without disturbing other people with the audio.
